Designed For Life and Living

About Lifemark

We live in a changing world. One where we have the means to live longer, more independent lives

So, isn’t it time that the design of our homes reflected the changing needs of everybody?

Whether you’re younger or older, mobile or need a little help to get around, having a home that is accessible and can adapt to your life's changes, yet is welcoming to everyone, is more important than ever.

Lifemark doesn’t build houses, or sell them. The Lifemark is the seal of approval awarded to a home which is designed to be used, or adapted for use, by people of all ages and abilities - and which has passed a rigorous independent review process.  A Lifemark approved house is accessible, adaptable and inclusive and is designed for life and living.  That means you, your family and your friends have the freedom to move and feel right at home.

Recognise the Lifemark seal of approval

Only designs that have been independently approved by Lifemark Ltd as meeting the LifeStandards for accessible, adaptable, lifetime design can carry the official Lifemark seal of approval.

The Lifemark is a certified trade mark and a trusted consumer brand.  This seal of approval lets you know that the house or design you are buying has been designed according to the 5 Key Principles of Lifetime Design and has achieved the relevant LifeStandard.  It is a way to identity a home that is designed to be useable, adaptable, accessible and inclusive of everybody, for a lifetime of enjoyment.

When buying a home or choosing your next house design, look for the Lifemark certified trademark.

"Over the years I’ve learnt that a consumer with good information makes a better choice. That’s what Lifemark’s about. The Lifemark seal of approval gives you confidence that your home meets your needs today and tomorrow."
