Lifetime Design. Working to Improve Home Design for Everyone
Lifetime Design is an independent, not-for-profit organisation established by CCS Disability Action in 2006.
Supported by the New Zealand Government, we advocate design standards to improve the state of NZ housing, providing design solutions for one of the nation’s most pressing needs – our ageing population.
We don’t build, sell or design homes. But we do provide a design ideas and work closely with architects, designers, retirement village operators, developers and homeowners to ensure that the country’s housing will cater for us all as we age.
The Lifemark™ is our seal of approval is a set of common sense design standards to deliver quality, reassurance and trust based on 5 key principles.
